Moving On

Well, they say that life is a journey, and it looks like the journey for Quietly Armed is about to come to an end.

A few weeks ago, I flew out of town to talk with the people who run Ammoman.com about revamping and re-launching their content and helping them become not just a source of good quality ammunition at great prices (with free shipping… did I mention the free shipping?), but also as a resource of information for the modern American gun owner.

They were looking for a crackerjack writer with a background in photography and videography, and instead of that, they chose to hire me instead. 🙂

As a result of this (and because they’re paying me to write them and them alone), I’ll be turning off the lights on this site so I can concentrate on warming up the boilers over at the new site prior to their launch.

I’m really, really excited about this, because writing about guns has always been my side gig, even when I got paid to market gun-related stuff for a living. Now, however, writing about guns be my main hustle, and there is a TON of ideas that I’ve come up with over the years that I’ve always wanted to do, but haven’t had the time or money to pursue. Now, however, I’ll have the time and resources to make all that happen. Videos… in-depth gun tests… ammo comparisons… the best way to clean and maintain your M134 Vulcan Air Defense System.

You know, the sort of stuff that appeals to the average American gun owner.

The ammoman.com site should launch in the next few weeks. Please stay tuned.
