Introducing The Cadre Sessions™

Each session in The Cadre series is focused on one essential skill to help make you a better armed citizen. The classes are inexpensive and will concentrate on improving and honing one essential technique. After class, you’ll receive a drill that you can use to further hone your skills at your next range session.

These classes are designed to maximize your training time and resources and put you on a path to lifetime enjoyment of the shooting sports and safely enjoy the armed lifestyle.

The Cadre Session 4: Time And Timing Encore

I’m very happy to be the first trainer in the area to integrate The Complete Combatant‘s innovative Image Based Decisional Drills into a self-defense curriculum. This system is a great way to bring many of the benefits of force-on-force training to my students, without having to deal with the specialized training gear. If you carry concealed, or are an average citizen concerned about your safety, this class will help you “thaw the freeze reflex” and act quickly and correctly in a life or death situation.

Getting our defensive firearm into play is a timing issue. Time is distance, and distance more options. The sooner we spot a lethal force problem headed our way, the sooner we can make a plan to deal with it or avoid it altogether. Knowing what trouble looks like, though, can be a problem, as criminals go to great lengths to confuse their intentions and get close to us.

This class is less than three hours long and requires no ammunition or firearms. This is a decision-making class that is ideal for anyone, not just people who carry a defensive firearm. Class size will be topped at just eight people to allow plenty of opportunities for 1-1 instruction.
