The classes are inexpensive and will concentrate on improving and honing one essential technique. After class\, you’ll receive a drill that you can use to further hone your skills at your next range session.  \nThese classes are designed to maximize your training time and resources and put you on a path to lifetime enjoyment of the shooting sports and safely enjoy the armed lifestyle.  \nThe Cadre Session Two Encore: Automatic Accuracy\n\nPrerequisites: A valid concealed carry license\nGear Needed: See below\nClass Date: Saturday\, November 16th\, 9am\n\nThis is a repeat of a previous class to allow others to join in. \nThe purpose of this class is to dial in the fundamentals of trigger and grip and create the building blocks of automaticity. \nWhat is automaticity?  \n“The quality or fact of being performed involuntarily or unconsciously\, as a reflex\, innate process\, or ingrained habit.”  \nThink about the last time you almost had a traffic accident. Not an actual accident\, but rather\, one that you were able to avoid. How did you do that? Did you ever\, at some point\, think to yourself\, “Oh my goodness\, that car just ran a red light. I need to take my foot off the gas\, move it to the left and apply it with all my might to the brake pedal!”  \nNo\, of course you didn’t\, you just did it. You did it because when it comes to defensive driving\, you have automaticity. This class is designed to help create those same automatic processes when it comes to your defensive pistol. \nTopics Covered In This Class \n\nReview of the Draw\nStance Doesn’t Matter… Until It Does \nGrip Theory \nTrigger Warning \n\nThis class is less than three hours long and requires fewer than 100 rounds of ammo. Class size will be topped at just six people to allow plenty of opportunities for 1-1 instruction.  \nGear Requirements:  \n\nA pistol (9mm/38 Special or larger caliber)\nA spare magazine \nA cover garment such as light jacket or oversized t-shirt \nA holster suitable for concealed carry. Please do not bring a Blackhawk! Getting your hits before you get hit\, well\, that’s even greater. The previous session\, Automatic Accuracy\, covered hitting your target. This session covers doing it in a timely manner. From getting your gun into play from concealment to increasing your shot to shot split time to keeping your head in the game in order to minimize mistakes\, this class is all about the efficient application of force. \nTopics Covered In This Class \n\nSpeeding up the draw \nIncreasing followup shot speed\nTask loading and interruptions \n\nThis class is less than three hours long and requires fewer than 100 rounds of ammo.
